Platform notes
Windows
Windows 11 includes the WebView2 Evergreen Runtime, and most Windows 10 22H2 systems already have it. The installer checks for WebView2 and installs it when missing.
macOS
Brand Peel is tested through macOS Tahoe 26. Packages are Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized. Drag Brand Peel to Applications; macOS Gatekeeper will verify the Developer ID signature and notarization status.
Linux
FUSE 2 compatibility is required for normal AppImage mounting (libfuse2 on Ubuntu 22.04 and Debian 12; libfuse2t64 on Ubuntu 24.04/26.04 and Debian 13; fuse-libs on Fedora; fuse2 on Arch). The portable TAR.GZ packages do not require FUSE.
