Resource Generator

Generate standalone images with selectable models, sizes, and aspect ratios.

Resource Generator

The Resource Generator creates standalone AI images from a text prompt. It becomes available after any brand project has finished setup.

Generated resources are stored in a local app-wide library. They are not attached to the active brand project, and the generator does not automatically send that project's documents, logos, or theme with your prompt.

Generate an image

  1. Enter a prompt describing the subject, composition, medium, and mood.
  2. Choose a model.
  3. Choose one of that model's supported resolutions.
  4. Choose an aspect ratio.
  5. Select Generate Image.

The completed image appears as the latest result and is also added to Generation History. Image generation is a paid, non-streaming operation, so the app does not expose a cancel button after it starts.

Credits and Pro usage

When your account is in credits mode, the current costs are:

Nano Banana1 credit2 creditsNot available
Imagen 4 Ultra2 credits2 creditsNot available
Nano Banana Pro3 credits3 credits3 credits

On Pro, usage comes from separate Standard Quality and Best Quality allowances:

  • Nano Banana 1K uses 1 Standard unit; 2K uses 2.
  • Imagen 4 Ultra 1K and 2K each use 2 Standard units.
  • Nano Banana Pro uses 1 Best unit at 1K, 2K, or 4K.

The Generate button shows the cost or number of units for the current selection. See Credits and Usage for plan allowances and renewal behavior.

Write a self-contained prompt

Because the Resource Generator is not project-aware, include the relevant brand context yourself. Useful details include:

  • Subject and intended use
  • Brand colors and contrast
  • Photography, illustration, or rendering style
  • Composition and focal point
  • Mood, lighting, texture, and background
  • Text or visual elements to avoid

For example:

Editorial product photograph of a refillable skincare bottle, warm ivory and muted green palette, soft daylight, restrained premium styling, generous negative space, no visible text or logos.

Use the local image library

The right side of the Resource Generator lists locally saved images newest first. Open an item to review:

  • Prompt and optional negative prompt
  • Model
  • Resolution
  • Aspect ratio
  • Creation date

You can download the latest result or any image from its detail view. Use History for search, OCR, filters, selection, and deletion across the full library.

Logo generation is separate

Brand-specific logo generation is in the Brand Creator's Logo tab. It uses the current project's brand documents to propose directions, saves logos with that project, and includes a node-based variation workspace.
