Getting Started
Install Brand Peel, sign in, create a local project, and finish brand setup.
Getting Started
Brand Peel is a desktop app for building brand documents, themes, logos, images, and design prototypes. Your creative workspace is stored in the app's local data directory rather than synchronized through your account.
You need an internet connection to create or sign in to an account and to use AI generation. Reviewing and editing work that is already saved is local.
Follow the setup guides
- Installation — choose the correct Windows, macOS, or Linux package and launch the app
- First Steps — create a project, use Brand Creator, review documents, and finish setup
- Configuration — change appearance, update channel, speech settings, and view app information
A typical first session
- Download the package for your operating system and architecture
- Launch Brand Peel and sign in or create an account
- Select New Brand, enter a project name, and choose Create Brand
- Describe the product, organization, or idea in Brand Creator
- Generate and review the Brand Identity, Visual Identity, and Brand Guidelines documents
- Accept all three documents and select Finish Setup
- Continue in the Design Editor or Resource Generator, or use Design Sandbox to prototype a branded experience
Design Sandbox is available as soon as a project is active. The Resource Generator becomes available after setup is finished. The Design Editor becomes available after setup, or earlier when a generated Visual Identity is used to set up a theme.
Keep your work safe
There is no automatic project sync. Once you have important work, create a project export and back up the raw local data directory as described in Export and Migration.
